Our world is facing a global pandemic with COVID-19 and the United States Federal and State governments are taking steps to protect the health of all citizens. It is important to understand what the dangers are and to act accordingly using information from trusted sources to avoid panic.
Accordingly Sun Health & Dental will be providing information on our website that is published from trusted sources. It is important to remember that the COVID-19 virus will have a greater and more profound effect in persons that are older than 60 of age and those who have underlying health conditions that compromise their immune system. This is also true for younger persons with compromised immune systems or who are taking medications that can suppress their immune systems.
Our office will remain open during the duration of this crisis and keep our normal business hours to assist our members and answer any question. Please note that our contracted medical providers are opened and ready to assist our members.. Also call our offices to schedule all appointments or visit our website and under the “Members” link click on “Request Appointment “ and create an appointment request. Our customer service representative will schedule your online request and call or text you the time, date and location of your appointment.
It is very important to heed the recommendations being published by our local government officials who are being directed by State and Federal officials. If we follow these recommendations the duration and effects of the pandemic will be less severe and we will be able to return to our normal way of life sooner.
