Sun Health & Dental is happy to announce a new and valuable medical service for its members. This service is only available to members that live in the Miami Dade, Broward, and West Palm Beach areas. Sun Health & Dental will be providing its members access to Medical Marijuana Centers approved by the Florida Department of Health.
Sun Health members wanting to get a medical marijuana card need to schedule an appointment with our customer service department. The members will pay $130 for the office consultation at the provider’s office. This service cost to non-members is $200 for the initial office visit and certification.

Steps for getting a medical marijuana card
First, if you have one of the above listed conditions schedule a consultation with our provider.
Next, the member needs to go online and create an account on the Florida Medical Marijuana website https://mmuregistry.flhealth.gov/ and pay a non-refundable fee to process their application. The cost to register is $75.00 and will be paid directly on the Florida Medical Marijuana website.
The member should have their account set up on the Florida Medical Marijuana site before visiting the Medical Provider so once the member completes their office visit they can be provided a prescription that is added to the member’s profile on the Florida Medical Marijuana website.
